OSHA 10-Hour Construction

Course Description:

This course is designed primarily for entry-level construction workers and provides an introduction to common safety and health hazards encountered on construction sites.

Training emphasizes hazard recognition, avoidance, control, and prevention.

Topics include OSHA's construction Focus Four hazards—falls, electrocution, struck-by hazards, and caught-in/between hazards—as well as PPE and other common construction safety concerns.

10 hours

Learning Outcomes:

• Students will recognize common construction hazards, including falls, electrocution, struck-by hazards, and caught-in/between hazards
• Students will identify appropriate OSHA-compliant safe work practices and controls for reducing employee exposure to construction-site hazards

Must Know:

Attendance is mandatory for the entire course to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Students who successfully complete all OSHA Outreach Training Program requirements will receive an OSHA course completion card.
