Course Description:

This course is designed for workers who are employed on job sites where hazardous substances or health hazard may be present but the worker will have limited exposure at or above established permissible exposure limits, as addressed by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.

Topics include hazard recognition, chemical and physical hazards, site safety and health plans, hazard communication, exposure prevention, emergency procedures, and selection and use of appropriate PPE.This course is designed for workers who are employed on job sites where hazardous substances or health hazard may be present but the worker will have limited exposure at or above established permissible exposure limits, as addressed by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.

Students should be prepared to participate in practical exercises involving PPE and hazardous-material safety procedures.
