Advanced Wastewater Math

Course Description:

This course is designed for intermediate to advanced level operators to build on the fundamentals necessary to solve mathematical equations as they pertain to wastewater operations.

This course utilizes both the DEQ and ABC Wastewater Math Formula Sheets.

Topics covered include complex formulas used in wastewater operations such as loading rates, F/M ratios, BOD, SRT, and lab calculations.

8 Hours

Learning Outcomes:

• Students will analyze treatment efficiency and lab calculations to solve complex operational problems
• Students will demonstrate the ability to solve complex math problems, including applications outside of wastewater mathematics
• Students will demonstrate the ability to analyze data and draw appropriate statistical conclusions

Students must attend the entire course to receive a Certificate of completion.
